Financial Accountant

Job Summary

This role supports core accounting operations, including month‑end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting and revenue and lease accounting, while assisting with audits and providing cross functional support

 

Qualifications - Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• 1-2 years public/private general accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Word and Excel
• Demonstrated appropriate experience including communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Extensive organizational skills including the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

 

Qualifications – Preferred

• CPA Certification
• Prior SAP experience
• Experience with OneStream
• Experience with AI/automation

 

Duties

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities to ensure timely workflow and recording of financial transactions

• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements
• Perform activities related to the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries and completing accrual and reserve calculations
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations as required by company accounting policies
• Complete external financial statement audit requests
• Complete quarterly and annual governmental surveys
• Perform ad hoc analysis and other tasks in support of the finance team, including FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Property Accounting, and Operations Accounting, as required

Competitive Salary, with a general salary range of $80,784.00 to $100,980.00, or higher depending on education and experience.
