Overview
Job Summary
Provides financial analysis, reporting and forecasting operations and the evaluation of potential business opportunities. Efforts focus on clinical service line analysis and reporting, as well as strategic financial planning.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of the annual labor budget and provide support for expense budget for Hospital, CHAS Physician LLC, Boone Medical Group and Home Health entities.
Provides variance analysis of budget vs actual results for assigned areas, providing explanations of the causes of any material variances.
Provides labor requests to Reimbursement consultants for required governmental reporting.
Prepare Labor committee reports and collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting and tracking of FTE requests and approvals.
Creation of month end labor schedules for Finance Committee and Board meetings.
Reconciliation of extracts loaded from all applications daily.
Creation of reports for ad hoc analyses or for external requests.
Balancing of extract totals between systems.
Collaborate with Accounting Team to provide support as needed for month end reviews.
Provide ad hoc labor analyses as requested from management team.
Support FP&A team by providing back-up proforma generation.
Provide labor information for ad hoc surveys.
Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business/Related
Experience: <2 years
Supervisor Experience: None Required
Licenses & Certifications: None Required
Preferred Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications: CPA
Healthcare experience
Accounting experience
