The Financial Analyst will be a member of the PFG Corporate Finance team within the Accounting and Finance department. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial analysis of national and local vendor rebate profitability across all of Performance Foodservice. In this role the Financial Analyst will work closely with the Procurement team. This position provides great opportunity for exposure to PFS leadership and a key function at Performance Foodservice with vast opportunities to grow within the organization.

The Financial Analyst will be a member of the PFG Corporate Finance team within the Accounting and Finance department. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial analysis of national and local vendor rebate profitability across all of Performance Foodservice. In this role the Financial Analyst will work closely with the Procurement team. Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare vendor rebate profitability analysis, including utilization of PowerBI, SAP and various other financial analysis tools.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data, quantifying financial opportunity and risk, and communicating the optimal business decisions/actions.
- Collaborate across departments including Field Finance, Procurement, IT, Accounting and OpCo’s.
- Develop financial analysis tools to assist in management decisions
- Lead and/or participate in business initiatives and special projects
- Manage the continuous development and improvement of the department
- Accountable for developing and sustaining a culture of customer service excellence
- Other projects or duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business acumen with analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of computer data
• Ability to take ownership and be accountability
• Must present a highly professional image and attitude
• Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking
• Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
