Financial Analyst

Essential Functions 

• Assess financial performance by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including data gathering and variance analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models using advanced Excel functions and techniques.
• Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reports and deliverables.
• Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Prepare and analyze recurring and ad hoc financial reports for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support reporting needs.
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, and analytical requests, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree required; business, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within financial services.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Highly organized, motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver accurate results on time.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial models or reporting tools is a plus.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Degree preferred in relevant discipline
• Two (2) – four (4) years related experience
• Computer hardware, operating system (Windows or Mac) and software/application (MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook etc.) skills
