Bel Air Investment Advisors LLC, an advisory practice of Hightower, provides investment management and advisory services to wealthy individuals, families, trusts and foundations, targeting clients with $20 million or more in investable assets. We offer a diverse mix of proprietary and sub-advisory investment strategies within our open architecture platform. The practice was founded in 1997, with offices based in Los Angeles built on a set of client-centric core beliefs which guide its practice.
What You'll Do
The Financial Analyst supports their teams with client/prospect presentation materials, reports, and more. The Financial Analyst (“analyst”) will report to the Manager, Advisory Support. The analyst will be assigned to a team or teams and have a close working relationship with all employees of the practice.
- Construct financial models, preparing standard presentation materials, and producing customized analysis/presentations for complicated account structures.
- Understand, research, and provide information to Advisors regarding prospects and clients' current portfolio structure and investments.
- Create and produce multi-manager performance reports.
- Research and provide information about products such as mutual funds, separate accounts, and alternative investments.
- Reallocate client portfolios and working with operations and product teams to reflect advisor decisions in client portfolios.
- Gain knowledge and understanding of processes and operational procedures related to client investing.
- Create and updating marketing materials for us (e.g., proprietary strategies, multi-manager, stock market balance sheet, index returns page, pitch-book materials).
- Construct risk-reward analyses, running Monte Carlo simulations, and performing manager performance analyses on Morningstar Direct.
- Complete projects as assigned (e.g., research manager returns, committee support, staff meeting support, etc.)
- Achieve knowledge and understanding of the markets and investment strategies offered at our practice.
- Understand principles, practices, and regulatory requirements of our practice.

- Demonstrate a strong interest in the financial markets, have a working knowledge of the investment world, and be a highly motivated team player
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or University.
- Strong technical skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Annual base salary of $70,000-$75,000 based on qualifications and experience
