Position Summary:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Enterprise Cost Management function. This role supports OPEX governance, cost visibility, and financial analytics across a +$2B USD cost base — working at the intersection of finance and data, focused on driving P&L performance and building smarter, more automated ways of working. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, technically sharp, and ready to take ownership of the numbers that matter.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that requires someone eager to engage with business leaders, FP&A, IT, and country teams to drive spend visibility, budget discipline, and cost accountability across the organization. It is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to make a meaningful impact in a large, dynamic global organization. Prior experience in a PE-backed or portfolio company environment is a plus, as is exposure to indirect cost management and cost transformation initiatives. What matters most is a proactive mindset, a strong analytical foundation, and a genuine drive to improve company performance.

Responsibilities:

1.       Maintain and reconcile cost databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of cost data across reporting periods and systems.

2.       Support the bottoms-up annual budget build and periodic forecast cycles using Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) principles, cost category frameworks, and spend analysis.

3.       Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis, cost driver commentary, and reconciliation of actuals vs. forecast for senior leadership review.

4.       Maintain CoA mappings, cost center hierarchies, and category classifications to ensure alignment across finance and operational reporting.

5.       Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and recurring financial routines that provide insightful and actionable cost visibility to senior stakeholders.

6.       Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Accounting, HR, IT, Operations, Procurement) to gather cost inputs, challenge assumptions, and support savings identification initiatives.

7.       Support the development and automation of reporting tools and scalable data solutions using Excel (advanced), VBA, Python, SQL, and/or Power BI to elevate the function's analytical capabilities.

8.       Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as directed by the Sr. Director of Enterprise Cost Management.
