Summary
The Financial Analyst I - will support the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking to build a strong foundation in operational finance, Budgeting and Business Analytics. The analyst will work closely with finance leadership and operational teams to provide accurate financial insights that support decision-making and performance improvement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year preferred of financial analysis or accounting experience, preferably in a health care or hospital setting. Good oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong computer experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Should be able to push/pull, lift/move 15 lb., be able to perform moderately difficult manual manipulations such photocopiers, writing, and filing for extended periods of time, must be able to perform tasks which require hand-eye coordination such as data entry, typing and using photocopiers. Mobility requirements may include the ability to be stationary at a workstation for a prolonged period time in addition to being able to squat or be mobile for a reasonable length of time and distance. Communication requirements include the ability to comprehend the spoken English language in addition to being able to communicate and read the English language.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Support the Budget team in planning and implementing the annual budget
- Assist departments in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of departmental and operational budgets
- Monthly actual to budget variance analysis, and review with Budget Manager
- Responsible for various other monthly reports/analysis
- Collect accounting and statistical information necessary to prepare reports and update databases
- Assist departments in analysis of reports and identify issues of concern.
- Assist with labor productivity tool updates and reporting maintenance
- Monitor labor costs and productivity metrics
- Assist in reporting and analysis related to staffing levels, overtime, and efficiency indicators
- Prepares statistical information and reports for the management and operations team upon request of the Manager.
- Support long-range planning and ad hoc financial modeling initiatives
- Complete required training, for end-users, as assigned by Budget Manager.
- Additional duties as assigned by Finance Director
- Adhere to patient privacy policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality.

Salary Range: $ 22.28-$32.31 /hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
