Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position Overview
The Financial Analyst Intern will support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in analyzing financial results, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. This role provides hands‑on exposure to real‑world financial analysis and reporting, allowing the intern to apply learned business and financial concepts while supporting the Accounting and Finance departments’ mission.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, including budget vs. actual variance analysis
- Analyze business and financial data across multiple reporting platforms to provide actionable insights into company performance
- Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and descriptive reporting to identify patterns, variances, and opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization
- Conduct deep‑dive analysis of P&L statements to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data
- Support ad hoc projects related to profitability analysis, cost optimization, and strategic planning
- Assist in the development and automation of dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Contribute to FP&A process improvement initiatives, including reporting automation and reporting architecture enhancements
General Intern Program Responsibilities
- Complete a capstone project focused on the assigned discipline and present findings to stakeholders during the final week of the program
- Perform administrative and project‑based duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent written, verbal, and group communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, create, and interpret business memos, reports, and financial documents
- Comfortable working with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Education & Experience
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance
