We are seeking a detail‑oriented, motivated financial professional to support IU Health’s tax function through transactional processing, tax filings, and continuous improvement efforts. This role works closely with senior financial analysts and cross‑functional partners to ensure accurate, timely tax reporting and compliance while supporting process efficiency and data integrity.

Reports to: Director – Finance
Direct reports: None
Shift: Full-Time, Hybrid schedule
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities:
Prepares income tax returns for federal, state, and local tax returns consisting of both taxable and tax‑exempt organizations.
Prepares the sales tax filing, reporting and payment processes.
Prepares the property tax filing and payment processes.
Prepares the excise filing and payment processes.
Provides ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the area.
Month end responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
0–3 years of relevant experience required.
Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated and self‑driven with a continuous process improvement mindset.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
Ability to work with other functional groups.
Knowledge of US GAAP.
