Pay Range: $15.20 to $20.56
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Financial Data Analytics Intern: Our Corporate Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a driven Financial Data Analytics Intern. This position can be located at the Corporate Offices either in Onalaska, WI or DeForest, WI.
Job Purpose: The intern will be responsible for pulling data from our general ledger and other Kwik Trip systems in order to provide real-time data driven analysis and insight into income and expense accounts across the enterprise. The person will work with all levels of management and non-management co-workers to analyze data to improve corporate profitability.
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Design, enhance, and maintain measurement tools, KPI’s, dashboards, and reports
· Gather, translate, and deliver technical information to stakeholders
· Research, identify, and analyze income and expense data to identify opportunities for improvement
· Develop efficient methods of data collection
Qualifications:
· Currently attending school for Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
· Possess strong data analysis skills
· Ability to read, understand, and interpret numbers
· Accurate and detail orientated
· Possess strong customer service skills
· Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet department deadlines
· Possess strong organizational skills
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
· Ability to work well alone and as a team
Work Schedule: This is a paid internship opportunity. Interested applicants must be willing to work approximately 15+ hours per week (Monday through Friday during school), with the option to work full time during school breaks.
