Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working and executing various tasks in the department
- Supervisor or Lead will assign work duties for the day
- Follows safety guidelines and work process procedures.
- Interprets paperwork, build tickets, product labels, etc. (as needed)
- Learns the product depending on assigned job - (Door styles, Face Frames, Moldings, cabinet parts, etc.) while leaning on knowledge of various wood types: Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Oak, MDF, Particleboard, etc.
- Operate all assigned equipment in all areas
- Temporarily covers positions, and typically pick up shifts as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Knowledge of all jobs in the work area.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter who works well under pressure and can follow a list of daily work assignments.
- Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.
- Must be team oriented, interactive, and possess strong communication skills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and timely completion of tasks.
- Organization and planning
