Your Team, Your Impact
Join the CE-AMS Design Flow group at Marvell, where you'll contribute to cutting-edge methodology development for AMS SerDes IPs and analog IP design. Our team designs and maintains the platform and methodology infrastructure for AMS IP design flow, focusing on automation, tooling, and systems that enable our innovative configuration-driven approach.
This internship offers hands-on experience with advanced design automation, AI-powered workflows, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact our next-generation products.
What You Can Expect
- Develop Design Flow Software: Create and enhance software tools for IP design automation workflows
- Script Development & Maintenance: Write robust, maintainable scripts using Perl, Python, and Makefiles to streamline design processes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, methodology teams, and verification groups to deliver integrated solutions
- Linux Environment Development: Leverage Linux-based tools and environments to build efficient automation systems
- AI-Powered Automation: Explore and implement advanced technologies including AI Agents and Skills to automate complex multi-platform workflows
- Documentation & Testing: Document your work clearly and ensure code quality through testing and peer reviews
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Strong experience with Python and/or Perl
- Build system knowledge: Hands-on experience with Makefiles and build automation
- Frontend development skills: Familiarity with JavaScript and modern web technologies
- Problem-solving mindset: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges with creative solutions
- Team collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Linux/Unix command-line tools and shell scripting
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)
- Knowledge of EDA tools or semiconductor design flows
- Interest in AI/ML applications for design automation
- Previous internship or project experience in software development
