Food Service Assistant (Full-Time)

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Full-Time Food Service Assistant to help provide excellent dining experiences for our patients, visitors, and staff. If you enjoy working with people, preparing food, and delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Shifts may be scheduled at any time within our 24/7 operation
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

What You'll Do

• Prepare and assemble meals according to menus, diet orders, and customer needs.
• Serve patients, guests, and residents in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Set up serving areas and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for meal service.
• Stock food and supplies as needed.
• Assist with dining room duties, including bussing and sanitizing tables.
• Deliver meals and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene, and food safety procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Provides exceptional customer service.

   

• Previous barista experience and/or food preparation experience is preferred.
