Position Summary A Day in YOUR Life as an Food Service Attendant The Food Service Attendant is at the forefront of customer service, providing Orlando Health patients, staff, and visitors with service that goes above and beyond expectations to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience. This role plays an essential part in comfort, satisfaction, and overall patient care within the Health Central Park Nursing Home and Rehab Center. Location: Health Central Park Nursing Home and Rehab Center 411 N Dillard Street, Winter Garden, FL Schedule: Part‑Time may include weekends and varied shifts based on operational needs Responsibilities Provides food services to patients, staff, and visitors as assigned by the Supervisor or Director Supports daily food service operations, including: Patient trayline setup and operation Delivery of food carts to patient care units Cafeteria serving line support Preparation of nourishments, desserts, and cold food items Assistance with early and late meal trays Performs non‑patient food service duties as assigned, including: Hot and cold food service Salad bar operations General cleaning and sanitation Communicates patient and departmental needs to: Food & Nutrition Services Leadership Clinical Nutrition Team Nursing staff Food service peers and ancillary team members Models Orlando Health service excellence behaviors, including compassionate communication and teamwork Interacts professionally and respectfully with patients, families, team members, and visitors Maintains regular, punctual attendance in compliance with Orlando Health, ADA, and FMLA guidelines Adheres to all Orlando Health policies, procedures, and safety standards Required Qualifications Education/Training Ability to: Read and distinguish similarities and differences between words and numbers Write simple correspondence Respond appropriately to common customer inquiries or concerns Licensure/Certification None required Experience No prior experience required On‑the‑job training provided Benefits Beyond the Expected Orlando Health is committed to providing you with benefits that go beyond the expected, with career-growing FREE education programs and well-being services to support you and your family through every stage of life.
