Foster Care Driver

Ohio Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth who may be facing out-of-home placements, transitioning back into the family home or independent living alternatives, or involved in the juvenile justice system. Part-Time Driver – Foster Care Support

Make a difference in a child’s day.
As a Driver, you will safely transport children in foster care to court-ordered family visits in your personal vehicle. This role is ideal for someone reliable, flexible, compassionate, and committed to supporting children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to scheduled visits and appointments in our company van
• Maintain a supportive and professional environment during transportation
• Follow safety guidelines and confidentiality standards
• Communicate clearly with the team regarding schedules and updates

Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Six months of human services experience preferred 
• Must be 21 years of age
• Educated/trained in mental health competencies 
• Valid driver's license in good standing and car registration/auto insurance (if driving for company)
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
• Commitment to the company’s mission and values
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
