About this role

What is the job? 
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across the Company. This position partners closely with business leaders and Accounting to ensure accurate historical data, meaningful forecasts, and reliable financial insights that drive informed decision-making.

You’ll serve as a primary finance contact for assigned departments, helping translate operational strategies into financial targets while ensuring consistency in planning assumptions and best practices. This role also supports long-term business planning, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.

 

What will you be doing?  

  • You will lead key components of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts, coordinating with departments to ensure accurate submissions and timeline adherence.
  • You’ll partner with business leaders to review results, conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and translate departmental strategies into actionable financial forecasts.
  • You will collaborate closely with Accounting to ensure accurate historical data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain data integrity for forecasting and reporting.
  • You’ll prepare and communicate monthly and full-year forecast variances, highlighting key risks, drivers, and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • You will support long-term planning, scenario analysis, dashboard development, and ad hoc financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

 

About you 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least one year of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
