Responsibilities

The frontend team in TikTok Multimedia Arch is responsible for platforms and toolings that cover a set of platforms that facilitate the whole TikTok video lifecycle from creation to consumption. The platform includes multimedia creation platforms, data platforms, strategy platforms, debug platforms and AI platforms etc. The content covers big data virtualizations, machine learning strategies, portraits and causal inference analysis etc.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

  • Work closely with frontend, backend and data teams to develop and ship new user experiences and features on TikTok platforms.
  • Conduct research on product and technical solutions, as well as fullstack development with high quality code for Multimedia Arch.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, ES5/6, CSS, and various layouts.
  • Understanding of component-based development ideas, familiarity with React, or any other equivalent library/framework.
  • Proficiency in Go development, database design and development.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good team communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to commit to working for 12 weeks in 2026.
