Job Summary

Grande Fond du Lac is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant I to support accurate financial reporting and strong compliance practices. In this role, you’ll assist with fixed asset management, lease accounting and oversee the tracking of these assets.  Also, you will assist with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis in accordance with US GAAP, while supporting close and audit activities that ensure reliable and timely reporting.

You’ll also contribute to maintaining key accounting systems, including the general ledger and fixed assets, support reporting through ERP and Business Intelligence tools, and assist with tax and regulatory filings. What you need to be considered for the role:

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
• Fundamental knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts of Finance
• Fundamental knowledge of spreadsheets

Preferred:

• Internship or other related Accounting or Finance experience preferred.
