Versant Health: Making Healthy Vision a Reality for Everyone

 

Scope and Purpose of Position:

The intern will work on a training development project, ideally from concept to completion. This position will provide an opportunity for the intern to analyze, design, and develop learning modules and associated facilitator guides for self-paced, hybrid or virtual instructor lead learning modules. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Instructional design and content development
  • Learning technology and production of training assets for adult learners
  • Project management and support

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Graduate degree program
  • Completed BA/BS degree in related fields
  • Preferred fields of study: Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology.
    • Preferred focus in Corporate Learning and Development
  • Required GPA: 3.0 and above
  • Upper division undergraduate candidates with exceptional experience may apply

 

Experience:

  • Experience with Instructional design 
  • Experience with Learning technology 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint and virtual training platforms such as Teams, Zoom or Adobe Connect.   
  • Experience using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate and/or administering content in learning management systems is preferred.  

 

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in technical and business writing, particularly for corporate instructional materials.
  • Expertise in Instructional Design, including the analysis, design, development, and production of professional development projects.
  • Adept at integrating principles of adult learning into the creation and delivery of professional development resources.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator with outstanding communication abilities.
