Join us as a Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Flight Test Ground Station Engineering Technical Lead -- Level 5 with our legendary Skunk Works® organization. The Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Some of our projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightning II. Learn more about some of the incredible things we do here.
A technical lead will oversee a team of ground station engineers engaged in devising practical solutions for challenging problems. Interactions and contributions will be on a daily basis with the team.
Some shift, extended hours, weekend work and travel may be required

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance with special program access
- Leadership system experience to include hiring, timecards, performance reviews, counseling, promotions, recognition, training, etc.
- Proven Flight Test experience
Desired skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline
- Security+ certification
- Experience in engienering documentation, configuration control and change boards, and systems management
- History interfacing directly with DoD customers

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
