DEPARTMENT: Grounds Maintenance

JOB SUMMARY: The Technician II will provide grounds maintenance for all Tribal Government entities.  Maintain flowerbeds; water, weed, rake, and fertilize trees and shrubs.  and empty trash receptacles around tribal grounds and dispose of properly.  Operate riding and walk behind mowers, blowers, power trimmers, chainsaws, and other power tools necessary to maintain the tribal ground.

COMPENSATION:  $23.25

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Two (2) years of commercial grounds maintenance experience using commercial mowers, equipment and tools as well as maintaining commercial equipment and tools.
• One (1) year of experience working with chemicals and/or pesticides used for landscaping.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES

• WA State Driver License.
• Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract Required)
• Must pass an Agility exam to determine if physically capable of performing the job.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular Full-time position.
