Description
AWS Global Sales (AGS) NAMER is responsible for driving growth in small, mid-market, and enterprise-level customers. This will be achieved through strong advisor skills driving cloud adoption, migration/modernization best practices, and transformation of IT organizational capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner and closely work with Sales Leadership teams and Field Sales organization
- Work with senior customer leaders (CIO and CTO) to build common visions and solutions based on the transformation strategy of their customers
- Lead/Support migration and modernization pursuits align to customers goals and priorities through partnership with sales leaders and account teams
- Prepare and give business reviews to management (MBRs, QBRs)
- Qualify migration and modernization opportunities based on best practices
- Maintain and grow migration and modernization skills
- Serve as the AWS advisor for customers strategic transformation initiatives and cloud adoption
- Support Account Sales team in presentations of strategy and Cloud Adoption vision to the C-suite including CEOs, COO, CFO, CIO and CTO
A day in the life
Your Typical Week Looks Like:
- Customer Meetings: Assisting Account managers in customer meetings with CIOs, CTOs, and VPs to understand their business challenges and map out a cloud adoption strategy that makes sense for them
- Sales Collaboration: Partnering with AWS sales teams to identify customers who need migration help, then shaping the engagement approach together
- Strategy Development: Strategizing with customers on technology roadmaps and transformation plans for enterprise customers not just the tech, but the organizational change that comes with it
- Solution Design: Pulling together multiple AWS services and partner solutions into a cohesive plan that solves real business problems, not just technical ones
- Driving Opportunities: Actively moving migration and modernization deals forward by demonstrating value and building executive confidence
Who You're Working With:
- Externally: C-suite and VP-level leaders at large enterprises
- Internally: AWS sales teams, solution architects, and the broader Migration & Modernization organization

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
