GUEST SERVICES LEAD (Part Time) - The Dump Luxe Furniture Outlet

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Guest Services Lead to ensure every customer receives the highest level of service—from point of sale through delivery and any post-delivery follow-up. In this role, you'll serve as a professional brand ambassador, supporting both internal teams and external guests with empathy, accuracy, and efficiency.

 

You'll handle essential store operations like service orders, delivery confirmations, document auditing, and customer communication—across phone, email, and messaging platforms. If you enjoy problem-solving, multitasking, and helping people, this role is a great opportunity to shine.

 

• Confirm deliveries at point of sale and complete 3-day pre-delivery confirmation calls
• Audit and upload all required documents (sales orders, finance paperwork, store closing reports) into DOMA
• Open and manage service orders with detailed guest information and supporting photos
• Process approved even exchanges, credit memos, returns, and warranty claims with required documentation
• Balance daily cash, process payments, and ensure all financial records are accurate
• Schedule deliveries and customer pickups while maintaining clear communication with guests
• Respond professionally and promptly to emails, phone calls, voicemails, and Podium messages
• Complete CPU order audits and send logs to Loss Prevention and Merchandising teams
• Identify and resolve order issues (e.g., damages, incorrect tags, entry errors) with store leadership
• Support store culture by demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a strong work ethic
• Assist with inbound and outbound communications to support follow-up and guest satisfaction
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned 

 

Requirements

 

Skills & Competencies:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a guest-first mindset. You should be confident navigating systems, solving problems in real-time, and handling multiple priorities at once—all while maintaining professionalism in person and over various communication platforms.

 

Physical Demands:
This position involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with regular use of hands for typing and phone work. You’ll need the ability to focus clearly on documents and figures and may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

 

Tools & Equipment:
You’ll use a telephone, computer, printer, scanner, copier, calculator, and general office equipment to complete your daily tasks.

 

Education & Experience:
• High school diploma required
• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
• Second language skills are a plus, but not required
