About this role

Summary

 

Hardware order puller and packer. Interpret daily orders and correctly pull and package hardware to meet daily shipping requirements. Accurately process paperwork to complete orders through the system.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

· Must have a good attendance record

· Must have basic mathematical skills

· Must be forklift certified, and safely operate a forklift

· Must be able to accurately record, scan, and maintain paperwork

· This position will have a major emphasis on quality

· Will be responsible for the accurate pulling, packaging, and staging of orders to meet on time delivery and quality targets and in a manner which prevents damage during transport

· Must be physically able to perform job duties, which requires heavy lifting, with or without accommodation

· Must be able to work the necessary overtime when required, which may include weekends

· Must be able to work any shift, which may include weekends

· Must be willing to perform other duties within the department as needed

· Other duties may be assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

What qualifications are they required to have?

· Must be forklift certified

· Basic Microsoft office applications and company operating and/or MRP systems

 

Travel

Minimal to no travel requirements

 

Language Skills

 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

 

Reasoning Ability

 

Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

 

 

Computer Skills

 

Must be able to use company operating and/or MRP systems, basic Microsoft office applications and a scanner

 

 

Other Skills

 

· Must be forklift certified
