This temporary position is located at 1401 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro - Wayne County, with the Department of Health & Human Services.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

The Health Care Technician/Substitute Teacher position supports any one of 6 certified teachers in carrying out academic instruction throughout the school day or providing instruction in the absence of a certified teacher.
This position will be responsible for providing instruction in the absence of a certified teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out prepared lesson plans provided by the teacher.
- Follow student behavior plans and document behaviors when needed.
- Assess skill development.
- Maintain attendance records.
- Provide feedback to the teacher(s) on the implementation of the curriculum and individual or group response.
- Collect assignments.
- Provide any other anecdotal information that can lead to student success.
- Other simple duties within the school will be assigned by the principal related to special school events/ activities, including bulletin boards, preparing activities, grading papers, etc.
Minimum Education and Experience

High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Condition for Continued Employment As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation. As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
