SUMMARY
Clinically focused position responsible for supporting Health & Productivity consulting initiatives and cross-functional workgroups while developing knowledge across the functions of Health & Productivity consulting, Analytics, and Clinical Risk Consulting. The role applies nursing experience and developing knowledge of employee benefits, population health, data analytics, and clinical risk practices to support Alliant client teams, strengthen consulting deliverables, and contribute to strategies that improve health outcomes, employee engagement, and cost management for Alliant clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports connectivity and coordination across cross-functional workgroups, including Health & Productivity, Clinical Risk Consulting, Analytics, Pharmacy, Client Services, Communications, and other Employee Benefits teams;
Learns and develops working knowledge of the Health & Productivity spectrum, Analytics, and Clinical Risk Consulting functions, tools, workflows, and deliverables;
Applies nursing experience and clinical perspective to support internal discussions, client team preparation, and development of recommendations led by Health & Productivity consultants and client service teams;
Assists with baseline assessment and data gathering across service lines and initiatives, including medical, pharmacy, dental, wellbeing, point-solutions, onsite clinic, disability, leave, and other health and productivity programs;
Supports review of claims reporting, trend summaries, benchmarks, program inventories, vendor materials, and related information; identifies questions or observations for review team members rather than independently producing client insights;
Builds familiarity with managed care, population health, quality metrics, utilization management concepts, chronic condition prevention and management, and employer-sponsored health and productivity programming;
Supports development, organization, and quality review of materials used in consulting deliverables, including presentation decks, data summaries, client discussion materials, job aids, and internal resources;
Assists with implementation support for client-specific health and productivity initiatives, including policies, campaigns, program documentation, vendor coordination, and communication strategies;
Partners with Communication Consultants to support development and maintenance of clinically-focused communications resources such as campaigns, newsletter templates, testimonial templates, and educational materials;
Participates in vendor and partner coordination activities as directed, including gathering information, maintaining documentation, and supporting follow-up with internal stakeholders;
Provides support for internal and external meeting preparation and may participate in client discussions under the direction of consultants;
Supports evaluation of client-specific program performance by gathering documentation, organizing results, and contributing clinical context for team review;
Maintains awareness of relevant local, state, and national regulations as they pertain to benefit and program design recommendations, escalating compliance questions to senior consultants and appropriate subject matter experts;
Actively participates in training, shadowing, and mentorship to build consulting skills and knowledge of Alliant systems, analytics resources, clinical programs, and client service expectations;
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three (3) or more years of related work experience in the nursing, public health, dietetics, or occupational health field(s)
Experience with employee benefits, managed care, utilization management, and/or employer health & productivity programming
SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
