ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

 

  • Consistently and accurately prepares food to established guidelines and orders for Hollydeck guests.
  • Ensures par levels for menu item ingredients are kept in stock. Reports shortages and/or outages to F&B leadership for ordering purposes.
  • Ensures food is prepared in a timely manner according to established guidelines.
  • Communicates with other Hollydeck Team Members as needed to provide prompt and friendly customer service according to department and company standards. 
  • Responsible for boiling and/or broiling or assisting with boiling and/or broiling of seafood products for Hollydeck events according to established guidelines.
  • Ensures food product served is fresh and meets guest satisfaction. Reports concerns regarding food product or ingredients to F&B leadership team.
  • Ensures food product is stored and prepared according to food safety standards and established guidelines.
  • Responsible for wearing personal protective equipment while handling all food products. Ensures food safety standards are following at all times while on duty.
  • Remains knowledgeable on all products in outlet, in addition to all casino events, amenities, and promotions.
  • Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to count money and change correctly.
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
  • Must meet professional appearances standards as outlined in company policy.
  • Ability to work in small areas in a fast paced and often crowded environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have good written and oral communication and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
