Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

The Home-Care Recruiter is responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring high-quality caregivers who align with our mission of providing exceptional in-home care. This role plays a critical part in building a dependable, compassionate, and skilled caregiver team. The ideal candidate has a strong ability to assess character, professionalism, and caregiving aptitude to ensure we hire individuals who deliver outstanding service and uphold company standards.

This position partners closely with scheduling, leadership, and HR to ensure staffing needs are met while maintaining compliance and fostering employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities

Caregiver Recruitment & Hiring

  • Develop and manage job postings across multiple platforms to attract qualified caregiver candidates

  • Conduct in-person and virtual interviews for multiple service areas

  • Evaluate candidates for professionalism, compassion, reliability, and alignment with company values

  • Assess caregiver experience, soft skills, and overall quality to ensure strong client-care matches

  • Maintain clear communication with scheduling regarding hiring needs and onboarding timelines

  • Track referral bonuses and coordinate hiring events

  • Complete all required pre-employment processes including background checks and compliance documentation

  • Work closely with the Scheduling and Sales teams to understand current and upcoming hiring needs, client demand, and caregiver availability requirements

New Hire Onboarding & Orientation

  • Lead new hire orientations (Tuesdays and Fridays)

  • Ensure completion of HR documentation, licensing compliance, background checks, TB testing, and onboarding requirements

  • Introduce company expectations, caregiver standards, and training resources

  • Support a positive and welcoming onboarding experience

Employee Reviews & Development

  • Coordinate annual caregiver performance reviews

  • Assign and monitor annual training requirements

  • Support ongoing caregiver growth and professional development

Benefits & Employee Support

  • Manage benefit enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment communication

  • Coordinate 401(k) eligibility and enrollment

  • Provide employee support regarding benefits and payroll-related questions

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Manage unemployment claims and implement HR practices to minimize liability

  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims and complete required annual reporting (Form 300A)

  • Coordinate risk prevention training and safety communications

  • Administer leave processes (FMLA, PFML, and other leave policies)

  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, labor postings, and employee handbook updates

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Create and distribute weekly employee newsletters

  • Support quarterly trainings and engagement initiatives

  • Conduct exit interviews as needed

  • Maintain employee systems including training platforms and internal communication apps

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Order recruiting supplies, uniforms, name tags, and business cards

  • Coordinate orientation day logistics including meals

  • Maintain company calendars and assist with company-wide communications


Qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting, HR, or healthcare staffing preferred

  • Strong ability to evaluate candidate quality, professionalism, and cultural fit

  • Excellent interviewing and interpersonal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Knowledge of employment compliance, background checks, and onboarding processes preferred

  • Proficient in HR systems and online training platforms

Schedule & Benefits

  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Wage varies depending on experience and education – weekly pay with annual wage reviews

  • 10 Paid Holidays
