JOB SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Coordinator supports daily housekeeping operations during assigned shifts, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet company quality standards by ensuring room readiness and efficient communication across the property.
Responsibilities
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
• Inspect guest rooms and work performed by housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with company standards
• Complete quality inspections before rooms are released for guest use
• Monitor cleanliness of carts, storage areas, hallways, and stairwells
• Assist with training and development of Room Attendants, Housemen, and Expeditors
• Promote a positive work environment and reinforce service standards
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and department documentation
• Conduct inventory counts for linens and supplies
• Perform key audits and track departmental resources
• Respond to guest concerns, service requests, and complaints
• Ensure special guest requests are fulfilled efficiently
• Maintain a professional, service-focused attitude
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• High school diploma or GED; plus 2+ years of related experience (hospitality preferred)
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Computer proficiency (including Excel)
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Able to walk frequently, easily utilize property stairwells and bend & lift (up to 30 lbs.)
• Tolerate regular exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Work in a fast-paced hotel environment requiring flexibility and physical activity
