Purpose and Scope

The HR Business Partner will report directly to the Manager – Human Resources and will be responsible to support HR initiatives across assigned business partners. This role will partner with business leaders to deliver HR support in line with business goals, foster employee engagement, and support the full employee lifecycle. This is an entry level role that is development-focused with exposure to talent management, employee relations, performance management, HR analytics and projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support HR Manager team in delivering day-to-day HR services to assigned business partners.
  • Assist business leaders and managers with employee relations matters.
  • Manage the Talent Management process, ensuring the development of talent and addressing performance issues. Assist managers with Succession Planning for key positions.
  • Participate in recruitment activities: job postings, candidate interview, and offer administration.
  • Review, analyze, and report HR metrics and trends to support business decisions.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in compliance with local laws and company policy.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand organizational priorities and workforce needs.

 

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR or related field
  • Highly organized and process oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with customer service orientation
  • Ability to operate with a high amount of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) 
  • Previous internship for a manufacturing company preferred
