Summary: Supports the goals of the Human Resource business unit as well as the organization by performing the following duties, incompliance with state and federal laws:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure that associate files, both physical and electronic, are current and in compliance with government regulations and document retention guidelines.
  • Respond to unemployment compensation inquiries in a timely manner in conjunction with third party administer.
  • Provide employment verification documentation in a timely manner and address any concerns from third party admnistrator. 
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of HCMS data and correct findings based on HCMS database audits and conducts internal audits to ensure accuracy of HR files, documents, etc.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports as needed for all levels of management.
  • Maintain and update Bulletin board/Safety to ensure compliance with internal expectations as well as federal, state and local regulatory bodies
  • Respond to general benefits related questions, directs escalated questions to Benefits Third Party Administrator (TPA).
  • Notify Benefits TPA of all life status changes and may transmit supporting documentation submitted by the associate to TPA.
  • Administeration of the C3i Solutions' Leave of Absence programs in conjunction with TPA.
  • Ensures preparation for all New Hire Orientation and assist in conducting New Hire Orientation and manages the new hire process in its entirety.
  • Receive, track, and investigate all Workers’ Compensation incident reports and files all claims with third party administrator.
  • Participate in the any applicable Safety meetings and supports Wellbeing initiatives
  • Assist in creating and maintaining HR Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Order office supplies on an as-needed basis.
