About this role

What We're Looking For: 

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy HR Coordinator to support our internal Human Resources & Talent Acquisition (TA) teams. This hybrid role blends recruiting support with HR operational tasks, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is interested in working across multiple HR functions. This position has an important role in driving initiatives and activities that ensure a positive employee experience and contribute to a great workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

HR Coordination

  • Provides follow-up on onboarding activities to ensure employees are completing required assignments
  • Assists in project management of HR projects and initiatives including setting timelines, organizing project documents, creating team accountability, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Assists in managing the communication cadence for HR initiatives
  • Manages enrollment process in HR systems such as ADP, Moxie, etc.
  • Enters employee changes into ADP
  • Collaborates with HR leadership to build and maintain the HR Intranet page & Management SharePoint site
  • Supports completion of compliance related activities such as required postings
  • Assists in developing and maintaining HR calendar
  • Develops and maintains documentation of HR processes
  • Provides general administrative support to the HR team, including calendar management and meeting prep
  • Continuously improves and helps drive innovative ideas to enhance the employee experience
  • May participate in special projects, as needed
  • Performs other duties as requested

Talent Acquisition Support

  • Assist in sourcing candidates for engineering, technical, and corporate roles.
  • Maintain and update candidate records in our HRIS system
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and onboarding documentation.
  • Support campus recruiting efforts, job fairs, and student organization outreach.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support recruiting metrics and workforce planning

 Education & Experience Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience, ideally in a technical or engineering-focused environment
  • 0-3 years of related experience in Human Resources
  • Cornerstone On Demand experience, a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.)
  • Passion for creating a positive employee experience and great workplace culture
