Position Description

The HR Coordinator supports the HR Director in executing the strategic and operational functions of the human resources department. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations with a concentrated focus on the job offer and onboarding process, recruitment support, and employee retention initiatives. The HR Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, fostering a culture of Compassion, Communication, Appreciation, and Accountability across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the full offer and onboarding process, including offer letters, pre-employment screening, new hire paperwork, and 30/60/90-day check-ins.
  • Support high-volume clinical and non-clinical recruitment through job boards, social media, referrals, and job fairs.
  • Assist with retention strategies, engagement surveys, stay/exit interviews, and turnover analysis.
  • Provide general HR support including employee relations, performance evaluations, leave administration (FMLA/ADA), and workers' compensation.
  • Maintain audit-ready HR files and ensure compliance with Delaware and federal employment laws.
  • Conduct regular facility rounding to maintain staff visibility and identify HR concerns.
