POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties primarily related to recruiting, hiring, employee relations, data management, and training to support the business locations. This position requires outstanding written, verbal, phone, and interpersonal skills in addition, they are required to have the ability to prioritize, multi tasks, and manage small projects.  

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting.  Works in direct contact with the HR Generalist for locations to complete and assist with the following: 
    1. Post jobs for locations. 
    2. Posts to job boards and schools.   
    3. Screens resumes for basic qualification.  
    4. Schedules interviews. 
    5. Creates interview packets.  
    6. Follows up to ensure that interview process documentation is returned.   
       
  • Data Management/Reporting.  Is responsible for Monthly reporting and data cleaning in HRIS system.  Maintains the dashboard as assigned by the HR team.  Always keeping confidentiality of utmost importance. 
    1. Examples of reports (not all inclusive):  turnover, overtime, training report, recruiting stats, store lists, daily hours, birthday lists for corporate
    2. Work Verification
    3. Drug Testing and background
    4. Zappos Codes
    5. ADP main page creation 
       
  • Benefits:

  • Training: 
    1. Assigns new hire training and training to existing employees.  MSHA, TIA, Driving, etc.  
    2. Follows up on training to ensure complete and utilizes the leadership team to get training done.   
    3. Maintains annual training calendar. 
    4. Works directly with our vendors to set up training and track attendance.
        
  • Other
    1. Manages scan folder and data coming into the HR offices and routes to the appropriate locations/people.  
    2. Coordinates management events and parties related to training or HR lead events.  
    3. Assists with HR Records retention. 
    4. Assists in the management of Safety files and safety data. 
    5. Assists with compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. 
    6. Communicates with HR team to ensure that information is shared properly.  
    7. Ensures all HR data and data that is accessible is held in professional confidentiality. 
    8. All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS – Unless indicated otherwise, these are required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 Months related experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record
