About this role

A Day in Life:

The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Western Division HR team. The coordinator helps drive a positive employee experience through engagement, compliance, partnership, and data integrity.  The coordinator will be a member of a high-performing HR team, focused on delivering excellent service to employees.

This is an onsite role in Los Angeles, CA and the salary is $30.15/hr.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide administrative support across the HR function with a focus on customer service and direction supporting Operations employees.
  • Support onboarding processes including completing employment authorizations and ensuring employee records are accurate.
  • Support timekeeping policies and correcting timecards as necessary.
  • Support workplace compliance by coordinating local Leave, Disability, and Workers’ Compensation management programs.
  • Coordinate meetings and events in support of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees for general questions.
  • Coordinate and assist with various HR projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR-related field or relevant experience, preferred
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS, Payroll, CRM, and ATS software, required
  • Proficiency in MS Office, required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task using multiple systems and applications
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What You’ll Get:

  • The hourly rate wage for this role is $30.15.
  • Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime)
  • Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)
  • Sick Pay: Granted Up to 48 hours
  • Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)
