Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. LINC's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.
Our operation is based in Chillicothe, IL and supports CAT’s material flow needs. We manage and operate a warehouse facility that provides pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and daily production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all on‑site HR functions for the facility, including onboarding, orientation, and new‑hire documentation
- Maintain employee files, attendance records, and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with recruiting activities such as job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate onboarding tasks including background checks, drug screens, and safety training
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, PTO, and payroll support
- Support employee relations by documenting conversations, tracking corrective actions, and assisting leadership as needed
- Process personnel changes, terminations, and job moves in HR systems
- Assist with timekeeping, missing punches, PTO requests, and payroll corrections
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare and distribute HR reports for site leadership
- Support safety initiatives, training documentation, and incident reporting
- Partner with CAT leadership on staffing needs, onboarding coordination, and workforce planning
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or coordinator experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset
- High attention to detail with solid organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive work approach
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced logistics or manufacturing environment
