Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Corporate HR team across core human resources functions, including recruiting support, background checks, onboarding, HR reporting, and acquisition support. This role helps ensure consistent HR processes, compliance, and clear communication between corporate HR, site leadership, and candidates throughout the employee lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Corporate HR team with day‑to‑day HR and recruiting activities
- Coordinate and manage pre‑employment background checks and required screenings
- Provide recruiting coverage as needed, including interview coordination and candidate communication
- Serve as a liaison between candidates, site leadership, and the Corporate HR team
- Support onboarding activities, including new‑hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and system access
- Assist with HR reporting, data tracking, audits, and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate employee and candidate records in HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Support HR activities related to acquisitions, site launches, and workforce transitions
- Travel up to as needed to support acquisitions or other HR initiatives
- Perform other HR‑related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- One to three years of experience in an HR, recruiting, or coordinator‑level role
- Familiarity with background checks, onboarding, and recruiting processes
- Experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with corporate teams and field locations
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team‑oriented approach
- Travel up to 30% may be required as business needs dictate.
