Job Description
This early-career HR Project Manager supports HR initiatives by coordinating project activities, performing basic data analyses, and creating clear, actionable reporting using Excel and Power BI. The role partners with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and systems through structured project management and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring HR and Enterprise projects such as recruitment process improvements, training launches, staffing modeling, employee engagement initiatives, or HRIS enhancements.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and communication documents to support HR initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, track deliverables, and maintain project documentation.
- Facilitate communication between HR, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project alignment and progress.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build Excel-based dashboards, trackers, and reports to monitor HR project performance, metrics, and timelines.
- Clean and analyze basic HR data sets to identify trends or risks.
- Support HR analytics initiatives by preparing datasets for reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Generate visual, easy-to-understand summaries for HR leaders and project stakeholders.
HR Operations & Process Improvement
- Support implementation of HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, HRIS updates, or policy rollouts.
- Assist with process documentation, workflow mapping, and identifying areas for operational improvements.
- Monitor project risks and surface issues to senior team members.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Analytics, or related field.
- Approximately 1 year of experience in HR, project support, data analytics, or a related role.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts).
- Ability to create dashboards or visual analyses (Power BI strongly preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Familiarity with HR systems.
- Experience supporting projects or cross-functional teams
- Exposure to project management methodologies.
