Status: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt | Pay: $23.00/Hour | Schedule: Monday, Wednesday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ; Tuesday 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing
- Update and post job descriptions on various job boards and platforms to attract qualified candidates
- Maintain updated candidate applicant information on tracking systems and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Conduct reference and background checks and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and regulations
- Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice
- Attend job fairs quarterly
Team Support
- Present company policies, procedures, and culture during new hire orientation sessions
- Assist in extending job offers and the onboarding process
- Updating new hire documents as necessary
Miscellaneous
- Attend staff meetings and quarterly trainings
- Enhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending seminars and conferences and reviewing professional publications
- Take initiative; demonstrate strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Initiate best practices; develop efficiency improvements
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other HR-related software
- Administrative/office work and customer service experience
General
- Reliable transportation required
- A flexible work schedule including some schedule changes, some weekends, and evening shifts to meet the department’s needs
- Detail-oriented and computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate selection, and employment legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Answer and respond to phone queries
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
