DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports talent acquisition work within the Posting Development Division by reviewing, updating, and preparing exam and posting materials. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with job requirements. As a Human Resource Analyst 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Documentation Review: Review requisitions and job posting materials to confirm accuracy and alignment with exam work behaviors
- Exam Modification: Update examinations and supporting reports based on validity checks, agency requests, or job class changes
- Question Development: Create or revise supplemental questions for various posting types and ensure appropriate scoring plans
- System Entry: Enter exam information and both scored and non-scored questions into NEOGOV with correct evaluation steps
- Quality Assurance: Proofread and prepare reports, forms, and other documents for clarity and accuracy
- Customer Support: Respond to inquiries from agencies and applicants regarding examinations and postings

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth title); or
- One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant (Commonwealth titles); or
- One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
This position is not subject to the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.
You must be eligible for selection in accordance with merit system employment regulations.
