About the job

As a Louis Vuitton Human Resources Manager, you will be accountable for cultivating and developing your fellow team members within this you will work to the optimizing of workplace performance in support of business goals through strategic recruiting, HR planning, change management, organizational design and talent management. This role partners with business leaders on all talent and hiring matters and will coach leadership on performance management as well. This person will help manage centralized initiatives as well as consolidations of all human resources activities inclusive of, but not limited to activities related to employee reviews, headcount, staff costs, as well as other corporate deployed projects.

The candidate must be strategic as well as tactical as this is a “hands on” position which requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization. Successful candidate will possess considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources administration, excellent problem-solving skills, effective oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, superior conflict management skills, approachability, dealing with ambiguity, command and influencing abilities, motivating others, drive for results and building effective teams.


Job responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Continuously discover ways to develop personal knowledge and that of the team in order to drive the overall performance of the store; strategic partnership with Regional and Corporate members to develop and deliver selling skills/training/feedback
  • Achieve individual and team objectives and targets for watches across the store while supporting team members in identifying new watch clients
  • Partner with the regional and corporate lead in watches and provide the Leadership Team with feedback (e.g. product performance, quality-related matters, client-related information, local market data, competitor information, industry trends and sales opportunities)

Client-Centric + Excellence

  • Create and implement specific action plans to pro-actively drive the business and maximize the product category performance, leveraging visual merchandising, clienteling, training, and team animations
  • Use your watch expertise to communicate and inspire the team on the company’s strategy and relevant business information relating to the product category; as the point of contact, ensure all new store employees receive training on Watches
  • Provide technical expertise and comprehensive advice on watches to Clients and support team members when Clients require more detailed information
  • Be a strong style advisor for your Client (e.g. fashion conscious) and skillfully assess the Client’s style and match with product recommendation

Self + Team Development

  • Nurture a thorough knowledge of competition through monthly competitor store visits and remaining informed of industry developments
  • Review category performance and meet with the Regional/Corporate leads as well as Team Managers/Leads, providing feedback on their teams’ results in order for them to coach & develop their direct reports and help build bespoke action plans for targeted client outreaches
  • Animate regular daily moments on watches to continuously develop the teams knowledge and the category performance in store

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD$110,000 - $155,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions
