JOB DESCRIPTION
HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Reports to: Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organizational/time management skills
- Spreadsheet preparation and tracking experience
- Respects confidentiality of information
- Detail Oriented
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports Human Resources Department
- Involved in processing New Hire and Employee Change notifications
- Maintain and follow up on background checks for all new hires
- Assist with new hire processing
- Input and verify all new employee records
- Input and verify all new employee Federal I-9’s
- Input and submit all Indiana New Hire Reports
- Input and verify Direct Deposit information
- Enroll eligible employees in INPRS
- Assist with identification badges and fobs for all new hires and transfers
- Receive, update, and distribute all name changes
- Update and maintain all employees through Safe Visitor
- Responsible for all Human Resources filing
- Post and maintain job openings on Red Rover and other approved sites
- Approve, maintain, and distribute all address and emergency contact changes in Employee Self-Serve and Red Rover
- Work with the Human Resources Coordinators on all end of year employee awards
- Update employee job descriptions and evaluations on Hamilton Southeastern School’s intranet
- Other duties assigned by Human Resources Coordinators and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
- Maintain reports for certified staff resignations, building transfers, and retirements
- Other administrative duties as requested
