Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board-certified physicians. 

We're currently seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join our Human Resources Department.

Position Duties

Three years of human resources experience; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelor’s degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the coordination of application and employment activities for Lallie Kemp Medical Center's classified and unclassified jobs.
  • Primary Liaison for LA Careers, internally announcing positions, and ensure appropriate hiring practices in accordance with Federal policies, Louisiana State Civil Service rules and regulations, LSU­HCSD policies and Lallie Kemp Medical Center policies.
  • Enter various employment transactions into the HR PeopleSoft System, including but not limited to appointment status, terminations, data changes, department transfers, reallocations, promotions, and pay actions.
  • Verify for accuracy and completion of all transactions entered Peoplesoft HR by the Human Resources staff. Identify and notify Human Resources staff of any discrepancies and/or corrective action required.
  • Attending Educational In-Services, Mandatory Training and Annual Review as required by hospital policy and procedure or deemed necessary by supervisor. All other duties as assigned include ensuring departmental coverage. 


Position-Specific Details:

Work Location: Human Resources Department.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Compensation: Salary depends on qualifications. The minimum hire rate for the Human Resources Analyst A is $18.04 hourly.
