About this role
Specific Job Functions:
- Write and edit memos, welcome letters, and promotional announcements.
- Develop and execute all internal property communication plans.
- Create and design communication pieces to thoroughly communicate employee events and programs to employees.
- Create posters, banners and flyers related to employee events and employee benefits.
- Design the weekly internal newsletter (The Treasure Times).
- Review current back-of-house communications and propose and complete design changes and update on a regular basis.
- Update information on the employee kiosk.
- Update and revise the back-of-house video monitor announcements.
- Plan and execute multiple property on-site events.
- Ongoing execution of the property’s GEM (Genuine, Excellent and Memorable) internal recognition program.
- Administration of the property’s internal recognition program.
- Oversight and coverage of the Employee Services window.
- Training of support staff on the specific functions of Employee Services window.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and other property required trainings.
- Ensure training materials and programs are current, accurate and effective.
- Organize and execute volunteer events and philanthropic programs.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Communications, or Journalism preferred.
- Four years of experience planning, developing, and executing communication plans.
- Must be a confident communicator and presenter.
- Great interpersonal, networking, and rapport-building skills.
- Ability to create professional, clear, and grammatical written materials.
- Superior time management skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- One-year experience in graphics applications required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point and Excel required.
- Proficiency in social media.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Knowledge of Canva, or other graphic design platforms.
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
