Human Resources Coordinator – Plantation, FL (on-site/in person)

Pay starting at $24.00 per hour

 

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team at our headquarters in Plantation, Florida. This role supports a 600+ employee organization with offices across the United States and carries meaningful responsibility across recruiting coordination, onboarding execution, and core HR administration.

 

The HR Coordinator plays an important role within the Human Resources team, helping ensure recruiting and onboarding processes run smoothly, accurately, and on time. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys communicating with candidates and employees, staying organized, and taking ownership of detailed processes. Training and support are provided, but the role requires strong follow-through and accountability.

 

The ideal candidate brings some experience in recruitment coordination and/or office administration, along with strong attention to detail, organization, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

• Support full-cycle recruiting efforts by partnering with the Talent Acquisition Lead, including posting and maintaining job requisitions in the ATS
• Coordinate interview scheduling and conduct initial HR screening interviews for designated roles with training and support
• Communicate with candidates regarding timelines, next steps, and interview logistics to ensure a positive candidate experience
• Assist with new hire onboarding execution, including coordinating pre-employment steps, reviewing required documentation, supporting paperwork completion, and ensuring day-one readiness
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of onboarding documentation, including I-9s, background checks, and required employment forms
• Partner with IT and managers to coordinate system access, equipment needs, and start-date readiness
• Serve as a point of contact for general HR questions, routing inquiries to appropriate HR team members
• Provide miscellaneous HR administrative support, including but not limited to employee communication, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation

 

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in office administration, coordination, HR support, or a similar role
• Experience scheduling meetings and/or interviews in Microsoft Teams/Outlook
• Comfort conducting initial video screening interviews strongly preferred 
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, candidate-focused approach
• Experience working in an ATS platform is a plus; Comfort learning new systems and technology and online tools is necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (or similar tools)
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR team members, hiring managers, and leadership
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
