Job Overview
The Human Resources coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of office support tasks related to recruitment, training assignments, safety, policy updates, CMV drivers and posters/postings. This position also requires the performance of administrative support functions for the processing of employment-related documents, data entry and digital record keeping. Employees in this classification are supervised and work within the framework of well-defined policies and procedures. A position in the HR Department requires confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Duties
- Create, maintain, and update a variety of digital records related to HR operations.
- Enter data into the employment records computer system and verify the accuracy of data as necessary.
- Assign and track training to employees via an online training program.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Communicate and work with medical clinics regarding pre-employment matters.
- Perform special duties and assignments related to HR/Payroll office activities and operations such as preparation of employment packets, policy updates.
- Prepare a variety of documents/materials including letters, correspondence, memos, emails, determinations, and/or public notices upon the request of the HR Management.
- Assist branch managers in the onboarding process of new hires.
- Track and update checklists and reports of new hire, temp employee, and training date.
- Perform all other related duties necessary for the functioning of the HR/Payroll Department.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required:
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 1-3 years' working in an office environment in Human Resources
- Previous administration experience and software proficiency
- Collaborative and professional demeanor
- Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other office-related equipment/machines.
- Excellent verbal English communication skills
- Ability to make sound, independent judgments
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions
- Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
- Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
- Able to work independently and work effectively as a member of a team
Preferred:
- Minimum 2 years' college education preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
