What You'll Do:
  • Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
  • Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Serving as back up for administering New Hire Orientation. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist the HR Generalist with performance management processes and employee relations matters.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.
  •  Serve as back up to administer New Hire Orientation, in the event the HR Generalist is out.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.
What We Are Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of admin support experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills. 
  • Exceptional problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Practical understanding and application of general human resources policies and procedures. 
  • Working knowledge of employment/labor laws. 
  • Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, internal and external parties. 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, well organized, and quick response times. 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities as necessary. 
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude. 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the role. 
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player with excellent work ethics. Strategic planning skills. 
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
