Pre-onboarding, high level customer service, and high volume experience is strongly preferred.%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe HR Services Team focuses on opportunities for improvement related to systems, processes, procedures, and data; taking a proactive approach versus reactive. The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent service to colleagues and customers, and responsible for timely transactional processes which may include, but are not limited to data management updates, onboarding processes, initiating background checks, records and retention, and tuition reimbursement processing. This position will coordinate, maintain, and provide data entry of various Human Resources transactions. The HR Specialist is positioned to provide outstanding service to our internal customers and employees for everything from general inquiries to more complex solutions focused on any HR matters such as compensation, benefits, leaves of absence and employment transactions, etc.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvides a professional advisory and administrative service to UT Southwestern campus, new and existing employees, external customers encompassing a broad range of HR inquiries and processes, including supporting resolving Tier 1 level HR inquiries, correspondence, handling customer questions, or navigating non-HR related inquiries to appropriate UT Southwestern department.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvides outstanding service to our internal and external customer with general to complex solutions on all HR related inquiries such as compensation, benefits, leave administration, recruitment, payroll, etc.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipates as part of a team that are subject matter experts on general HR knowledge and organizational information to effectively answer questions and help new hires or external customers navigate UTSW.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWorks with all staff members within HR Services, Human Resources and departments across UTSW to create and manage effective relationships.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELiaise with teams within HR Services and Human Resources Center of Excellence (HR COE) for escalation and resolution of queries and cases.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWorks pro-actively to support and deliver excellent, timely customer service to customers, HR colleagues and stakeholders.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EIdentifies customer needs, seeking and providing effective solutions to their inquiries using HR Knowledge Base to provide consistent answers and guidance.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EResponsible for providing a high-touch experience for new and existing employees emphasizing continuous process efficiency and results.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerforms onboarding efforts from time of offer acceptance and support new hires through the pre-onboarding process to orientation.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECompiles and monitors daily production reports for work group; monitors performance standards; advises manager of performance deficiencies and all system and procedural issues which require analysis and resolution; makes recommendations for re-training of employees.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELiaise with teams within HR Services and Human Resources COE for escalation and resolution of queries and cases%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsures the timely completion of all pre-onboarding activities including background checks, DPS, Occupational Health, MVR, license/certification verification and I-9 completion.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWorks on special projects relating to issues specific to the area of assignment; make recommendations for changes in procedure to increase productivity, standardization, quality control and customer service.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECollaborates with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to identify issues, make recommendations, and implement policies and procedures.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerforms compliance and audit management of new hire files.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EThe job may require performing one of the following duties:%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EBuilds and maintains collaborative partnership with Lead Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure seamless onboarding process for new hires.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupports the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in processes and systems related to HR Services Center.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvides support with weekly new employee orientation, as needed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EUtilizes applicable HR systems to record and maintain accurate record data.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPeforms other duties as assigned.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3ESECURITY AND EEO STATEMENT%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3ESecurity%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EThis position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3EEEO%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EUT Southwestern Medical Center is committed to an educational and working environment that provides equal opportunity to all members of the University community.
