JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with all human resources processes. Primary functions will be Onboarding, Recruiting tasks, HRIS support, Maryland gaming licensing process. Confidentiality , compliance, and a people-centric approach are key to the success in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting and Onboarding
Payroll support
Maryland Gaming Licensing support
Benefits support
HR events and Job Fairs
Compliance with both State and Federal regulations for Human Resources
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1-3 years of experience in a human resources position
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of the role
Confidentiality, discretion, empathy, excellent communication are valued traits
Strong computer (MS office) or other HRIS systems is preferred
Experience with payroll or recruiting a plus
Must be able to obtain and keep a Gaming License issued by the Maryland Gaming Commission
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
HIgh diploma
Some college or a degree a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to sit, walk, stand for extended periods of time without difficulty
Flexible schedule is required during certain periods of the calendar year
