Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing team. This role will handle a broad range of human resources functions while playing a key supporting role in full-cycle recruiting. Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Duties:
· Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles: create and post job descriptions, source candidates through applicant tracking system, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews.
· Assist with scheduling interviews and participating in candidate interviews alongside hiring managers.
· Conduct initial phone/video screens, reference checks, and background verifications.
· Partner with department leads to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
· Help maintain and improve our applicant tracking system and candidate experience.
· Support onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to first day.
HR Generalist Duties:
· Maintain accurate employee records in Human Recourses Portal and ensure data compliance.
· Support employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance coaching, and policy interpretation.
· Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; help prepare for audits and maintain required postings/documentation.
· Coordinate training and development initiatives, track completion, and identify learning needs.
· Handle HR administrative tasks: process changes in employment status, manage leave requests and support offboarding/exit interviews.
· Contribute to HR policy development, employee handbook updates, and special projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
· Position requires a minimum high school diploma with knowledge of general business procedures. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
· Previous experience or advanced training in Human Resources is required, or the equivalent.
· Willingness to learn and is goal driven.
· Working knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
· Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
· Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
· Position requires candidate successfully pass both a Criminal Background Check and Drug Test.
